Malika Chanté Klas 

 

Also known as M C K head designer and founder of M C K DESIGNS started in 2021. Born in the Netherlands on January 3rd 2000, originally from Poland and Suriname. Raised in a multicultural household. She is currently located in Belgium, Europe.

 

Fashion has been a part of her life since the age of 10 where she fell in love with the concept of sketching her own designs. 

Her work is all about the comfort she finds in fashion and expressing it in her designs. Practicality and comfort above all. She started designing womenswear using masculine and feminine silhouettes combined, but also focuses on accessories, unisex and menswear. 

 

Her real journey began in February 2021 when she started her brand at the age of 21 manufacturing all orders by herself from pattern drawing to finishing the end product. Thanks to her hard work and dedication she was able to introduce over 8 collections/drops that year alone.

In the summer of 2022 she put her brand on hold to work on her rebrand which will be part of the show as well. By rebranding she is hoping to expand and increase her brands exposure.

 

She will be presenting her collection “In War with myself” to dedicate her introduction to the fashion world to herself and her journey of getting where she is today. This collection is inspired by nature combined with military and the connection between that and her own story. Introducing her brand again as a high fashion brand after months of rebranding.
