For Spring/Summer 2027, Tchashin returns to competitive ice dance and confronts the violence that can exist beneath the immaculate surface of elite performance. Grace is presented as effortless, yet it is manufactured through pain.

Drawing from experiences of physical injury, repetition until exhaustion, bodies constantly evaluated, childhoods structured around training and an overwhelming pressure to remain beautiful while enduring discomfort silently, Tchashin presents the idea of the manufactured body confronting the sexualisation of young athletes and the imbalance of power between the bodies being watched and those permitted to judge them.

theatricality that first made the world of performance seductive while exposing what can remain invisible underneath it.
