Perry Jones
William Perry Jones II
Originally from St. Paul, MN, his inspiration began at the age of 7, when he was already drawing and his mother enrolled him in an art school, where he fell in love with creativity and design. He started sewing at 9 years old and began making or adjusting pieces to his garments in junior high school, later majoring in art in college. His inspiration was also shaped by watching actors such as Sidney Poitier, Clark Gable, and the 007 series, admiring how they dressed, as well as by fashion magazines in the 90s, where he fell in love with Armani, Versace, and other designers and realized he could pursue that path as well.
In his early 20s, he began a career as a model that lasted for over a decade, appearing in major ad campaigns and billboards for brands such as Target, Fingerhut, Best Buy, and many more. He also ventured into acting, appearing in television shows including Ally McBeal, David Spade’s projects, NYPD Blue, ER, and numerous others. In 2011, he transitioned and started his own business, refining his craft over the years by observing and working one-on-one with master tailors to perfect and elevate his vision.
In recent years, his designs have been featured on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, and he has appeared on billboards in New York City’s Times Square. The brand has been worn by Grammy Award winner Skip Martin from Kool & the Gang and has appeared in films such as “I Love Us.” His work has also been showcased at Paris Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, Los Angeles Fashion Week, and New York Fashion Week.
The brand’s mission and vision is: “Let the glow shine from within. It starts with you. The clothes look great; but what makes them great are the ones in them. Fashion starts from the inside out!” The label is a Bespoke Couture house, creating custom made-to-order pieces for men and women. The aesthetic is luxurious, sophisticated, high-end fashion with a touch of edginess, always aiming to create fashion that goes beyond a purely visual aesthetic.
