At just 24 years old, Vy is a Hanoi-born Gen Z designer and a bold new voice in Vietnamese fashion. Raised in the family behind IVY moda—one of Vietnam’s most recognized fashion brands—she was immersed in fashion from an early age. After spending the past decade studying and working in New York City, Vy has honed a distinctive design language rooted in cultural storytelling and minimalism. Her aesthetic fuses Vietnamese traditions, particularly the iconic áo dài, with avant-garde structure, prioritizing silhouette, volume, and architectural pleating over embellishment. Her signature collection, Rivière Noir (“Black River”), exemplifies this vision through a monochrome palette and sculptural tailoring inspired by early 20th-century Hanoi. In September 2025, Vy will make her international debut at New York Fashion Week with a workwear-inspired collection that redefines professional dressing for women—marking both her rise and IVY moda’s 20th anniversary. Returning to Vietnam, Vy brings a global perspective and a mission to evolve IVY moda into a modern icon that bridges heritage and innovation.
