Dunne Cliff

Allison

Dunne Cliff is a label that makes clothing by hand—small collections formed through a distinct philosophy: clothing as an essay. Each piece explores balance and tension, where opposing ideas are weighed and resolved within a moment in time. Through knitwear and thoughtful garment craftsmanship, Allison writes these tensions into fabric, tracing the irresolution between A and B—the swing of the pendulum.

Her garments become opportunities for heritage and humour, acts of meditation on technology, on history, and on possibility—on what could be.

Allison is an emerging Canadian designer. Between 2023 and 2025, she showcased five collections at Vancouver Fashion Week and Fashion Art Toronto. She was a Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards (CAFA) finalist for Fashion Design Student of the Year (2023) and received the Nancy Mak Award with the Global Fashion Collective (2025). In May 2025, she earned the FASHN DISRPTR Award with Fashion Art Toronto.

Her work has been featured on CTV News (2023) and photographed in Cosmopolitan Korea (2024), Vogue China (2025), Vogue Mexico (2023, 2024), and Vogue Italy (2023, 2024, 2025). In July 2025, Allison completed a short course in Experimental Fashion Knitwear at Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts London.
