Lisa Grodek (b. 1987) is a German-Polish crochet designer and artist. As a multidisciplinary fashion designer, she creates distinctive works that experiment with diverse materials and forms. Since 2004, Grodek has pursued revolutionary methods of reinterpreting crinoline fashion within the craft of crochet and is considered the developer of the entirely crocheted crinoline dress. Combining design with scientific disciplines, she replaces traditional fabrics from the fashion eras of the late Renaissance, early Baroque, and the 1920s–1960s exclusively with high-quality yarn.
