WooLeeX

Yu-Nung Hsieh/Ming-Jo Hsieh

WooLeeX is a Taiwanese fashion brand led by designers Yu-Nung Hsieh and Ming-Jo Hsieh. Since its inception, the brand has showcased multiple times at New York, Tokyo, and Taipei Fashion Weeks. Each collection consists of limited-edition runway pieces, whose unique appeal is highly favored by celebrities.

The previous collection draws inspiration from the designers’ global travels, integrating four key elements—sportswear, fashion, American culture, and music—into a cross-disciplinary fusion. Acrylic pearl studs serve as a visual signature, while techniques such as double-sided fabric manipulation, heat transfer, hand-drawing, and crystal pendants create a visually dynamic wearing experience, depicting a richly interwoven multicultural journey.

The menswear collection builds on tailored suits, using pattern variations and diverse materials to craft layered contours and textures. Womenswear includes tailored pieces alongside elegant long dresses, showcasing the designers’ keen attention to detail. The overall style is luxurious yet refined. They view fashion as wearable art, continuously fostering unique dialogues between fashion and art through cross-sector collaborations and cultural translation.

The SS26 collection, “Meet the Met,” takes inspiration from the extravagant and imaginative spirit of the Met Gala—where dramatic tension and personal declarations intertwine on the red carpet. Each outfit is an exaggerated statement custom-made for a unique soul. This season’s menswear highlights sequins, acrylic pearl studs, and unconventional fabric combinations, presenting a playful yet structured aesthetic. Womenswear emphasizes intricate layering and lace motifs to outline a glamorous and rebellious silhouette.
