BLTAM Entre, a group of young girl fashion designers from South Korea known for crafting collections that weave social messages into fashion to elevate humanity and enrich the world, is set to make its New York debut at SS27 NYFW. The team comprises four talented young South Korean designers: Jane Shin (10), Eunwoo Ji (12), Jia Kim (12), and Jiyoon Lee (12).
Each designer selected one of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—Quality Education, Economic Growth, Good Health, and Peace & Justice—as their core theme and translated these values into fashion designs:
Jane Shin highlights how quality education fosters healthy societal coexistence by harmonizing symbolic educational values with Eastern and Western aesthetics.
Eunwoo Ji weaves economic contrast into a single garment, conveying the message that every individual remains inherently valuable regardless of socioeconomic background.
Jia Kim takes inspiration from medical attire to express "healing." She elevates the collection's uniqueness and value by fashioning Western-style dresses using eco-dyed, traditionally crafted Korean natural silk.
Jiyoon Lee interprets "liberty" through a luxury aesthetic, reminding viewers that true freedom—one of society’s vital pillars—flourishes within social consensus rather than indulgence.
BLTAM Entre is a social-impact fashion group founded early this year by veteran Korean designer Bomin Kim. As the CCO of BLUETAMBURIN, Kim has actively presented collections across major global fashion weeks, including New York, Paris, Milan, London, and Vancouver. Driven by a mission to transform lives and the world through fashion, Kim expanded her impact initiatives to the next generation by selecting young girls passionate about fashion and entrepreneurship. Following four months of preparation, the group successfully unveiled its first collection at FW26 Vancouver Fashion Week (VFW).
The response was overwhelmingly positive, drawing significant media attention and acclaim from industry professionals impressed by young designers aged 10 to 12 delivering such sophisticated, value-driven designs on a global stage.
"We learned and directly experienced that fashion holds incredible power to influence the minds and actions of both those who wear it and those who see it," shared the designers of BLTAM Entre. "We want to continue presenting beautiful fashion with meaningful messages to help build a better world."
Designer Bomin Kim plans to expand the BLTAM Entre program into structured tiers: a short-term course, a Vancouver Fashion Week track, and an elite program tied to New York Fashion Week.
