Elena Beliaeva is the Founder and Creative Director of LENKA, a contemporary fashion brand established in 2024. With more than a decade of experience in the fashion industry, she began her career as a personal stylist before evolving into fashion design, where she creates original collections that merge art, cultural heritage, and contemporary aesthetics. LENKA transforms personal stories, cultural memory, and everyday life into a modern language of fashion. The brand is driven by the idea of reinterpreting the familiar, where the past meets the present and memories take on new forms through design. Its signature aesthetic is defined by deconstruction, asymmetry, exposed seams, raw edges, and a contemporary reinterpretation of elements inspired by Mordovian cultural heritage. Every garment is produced in limited quantities with exceptional attention to craftsmanship, quality, and detail. LENKA explores how personal experience, emotion, and cultural identity can be translated into a contemporary visual language. For the brand, fashion is more than aesthetics—it is a way to preserve memory, tell stories, and create a dialogue between tradition and modernity.
TRACE
SS27
TRACE is an exploration of memory, cultural heritage, and the beauty of everyday life. The collection draws attention to what often goes unnoticed: hidden garment constructions, ordinary objects, and the traces of human life they carry. Objects created to serve rather than to be seen are transformed into something new—a package becomes an accessory, a garment cover becomes a cape, and even an ordinary bath sponge becomes a dress, gaining new value and meaning. Hidden structural elements of clothing—exposed seams, concealed details, and bra-inspired lines reinterpreted through prints and design details—become part of the collection’s visual language, revealing what is usually kept out of sight. Through deconstruction, contemporary silhouettes, and a subtle reinterpretation of elements inspired by the traditional Mordovian costume, the collection connects personal stories, cultural memory, and the present. TRACE invites the viewer to see everyday objects from a new perspective, transforming the ordinary into a new language of design. Beauty is always around us—we only need to change our perspective to see it.
