Amato Moda

Alan Amato

AMATO is inspired by the nostalgia of 1970s Sicily and New York, from the colors and

atmosphere to the people and the way they dressed. The idea behind the brand is simple:

creating streetwear as if it had existed in the 1970s, combining relaxed silhouettes with a

sense of elegance and character from that era. Growing up between different cultures and

influences, founder Alan Amato developed a strong connection to vintage aesthetics and

timeless style. Rather than following trends, AMATO focuses on pieces that feel authentic and carry a sense of history. Every collection reflects a blend of Mediterranean warmth and New York attitude, bringing together two worlds that continue to inspire the brand today.

ZAGARA-NOSTALGIA

SS27

This collection continues the world of AMATO through the lens of a 1970s Sicily and New

York that exists somewhere between memory and imagination. Influenced by the relaxed

elegance of the era, the silhouettes are wider, softer, and more generous in proportion, with

tailoring that recalls the effortless confidence seen in classic Italian and New York cinema.

Silk plays a central role throughout the collection, accompanied by Italian denim and cotton,

creating a balance between refinement and everyday wear. Every garment is produced in

Italy, with a strong focus on fabric, construction, and longevity. Terracotta reds, faded denim

blues, dusty greens, and rich browns reflect the landscapes of Sicily and the worn textures of

New York in the 1970s. Rather than reproducing the past, the collection imagines a world

where contemporary streetwear and the elegance of 1970s tailoring evolved side by side.
