KEHANG

Qihang Guo

Qihang Guo, born in Shanghai, China, is a New York-based fashion designer whose work bridges artistry and emotion to create garments that tell powerful, personal stories. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, Guo draws inspiration from the complexities of human experience, particularly the interplay of vulnerability and resilience in the modern urban landscape. His designs are a testament to his passion for crafting pieces that transcend functionality, offering a tactile and visual narrative that resonates deeply with wearers.

Guo’s brand, Kehang, embodies his philosophy of creating fashion that connects with emotions and experiences. His work merges traditional techniques with innovative approaches, incorporating a variety of materials such as linen, cotton, organza, leather, and unconventional elements like silicone. These diverse materials allow Guo to explore contrasts in texture and structure, resulting in designs that are as visually striking as they are conceptually profound.

The collection reflects Guo’s fascination with duality—the juxtaposition of softness and strength, chaos and calm, and fragility and fortitude. Through cuts, structures, and experimental forms, the garments evoke the tension between exposure and protection, mirroring the emotional and physical landscapes of contemporary life. A neutral color palette of cream, muted gray, and beige is accented by unexpected details, further enhancing the narrative depth of each piece.

Qihang Guo’s work stands out for its ability to blend innovation with meaning, inviting wearers to engage with fashion as a medium for self-expression and introspection. Kehang offers not just clothing, but an experience—where every garment becomes a piece of wearable art imbued with intention and emotion.
