The concept is "I am me." LAATO is not about following trends, but about
establishing what you want to wear personally, and designing pieces that naturally fit into each individual's unique preferences and interpretations. The brand focuses on expressing the smoothness and luster of adult women, often characterized by soft colors. LAATO was launched in Spring/Summer 2020 and is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year.
Chika Nakabayashi
Born in Nara Prefecture, Chika Nakabayashi joined Urban Research Co., Ltd. in
1998. After gaining experience as a sales associate, she became the brand director for "KBF." She later launched the accessory brand "SMELLY" and served as the director for "SENCE OF PLACE by URBAN RESEARCH." In Spring/Summer 2020, she started her own brand, "LAATO."
