Hengki Kawilarang fashion designer started his career in 2001 in Jakarta Indonesia, with a line of feminine, glamorous designs.

Always make every woman like a "diva" in every detail of her design full of glamorous elements such as crystals, feathers, and something shiny. Many celebrities and upper-class women are his loyal customers.

Inspired by a famous empire in ancient times on an island called Sumatra and controlled a part of Asia called "Sriwijaya" one of the traditional fabrics called songket & jumputan cloth from Palembang, the capital of the famous Sriwijaya kingdom royalty and royal glamor were key inspirations for the NYFW fall/winter 2023 collection.

From Palembang, Indonesia to the NYFW stage, hopefully, it will give a new breath and introduce how rich Indonesian culture is for the international fashion market.
